How the games here are licensed, and how rights holders can request removal.
Every game here is free to play, and openly licensed: homebrew, public-domain, or released by its creators under open licenses (MIT, GPL, Creative Commons, and similar). We link to each game’s source and license, and we credit creators whose licenses ask for attribution — see the footer.
We don’t host copyrighted commercial games, BIOS, or firmware. For systems that need those, you bring your own files, and they stay on your device.
Everything in the Arcana library is homebrew, public-domain, or distributed under an open license that permits this use, and we link to each title’s original source and license.
We do not host BIOS, firmware, or copyrighted commercial games. Where a system needs those, the files are supplied by you, read in your browser, and never uploaded to us — they never touch our servers.
If you hold rights to a work you believe appears here without authorization, email takedown@arcanagames.io with the title, your relationship to the work, and the basis of your claim. We review every request and remove anything we cannot substantiate as properly licensed.
